Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park

Join us for an educational journey through Tennessee history at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in downtown Nashville. During a guided one-hour tour, students will explore the park's monuments, memorials, and interactive exhibits while discovering how Tennesseans have shaped the state's history and influenced the world around them.

The tour will cover a wide range of topics, including the founding of Tennessee, the state's natural resources, its rich musical heritage, and the contributions of Tennesseans from early statehood through World War II. As students walk through the park, they will gain a deeper appreciation for the people, events, and industries that helped define Tennessee's unique story.

Following the tour, we will head to the nearby Farmers' Market for lunch. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy a meal, explore the market, and spend time with friends while reflecting on what they learned throughout the morning.
