Safe Haven Family Shelter: Welcome Home Apartment Staging

Join us for a meaningful service opportunity with Safe Haven Family Shelter as we help transform empty apartments into welcoming homes for families transitioning out of homelessness. Through the Welcome Home Apartment Staging program, volunteers play an important role in creating a space where families can begin a new chapter with dignity, comfort, and hope.

Participants will work together to stage apartments by arranging furniture, organizing household essentials, and adding thoughtful touches that help create a warm and inviting environment. As volunteers prepare each home, they will gain firsthand insight into the challenges families face when securing permanent housing and the impact a supportive community can have during times of transition.
